  • Uniform

    We have been working hard to make sure that the children are wearing their correct uniform. Some parents have asked to have this clarified. As a reminder, children should wear:

     

    • Blue/white blouse, short or polo shirt
    • Black/grey trousers/skirt
    • Navy jumper/sweatshirt/cardigan (preferably with the school logo)
    • Black/grey tights or socks
    • Black shoes (not trainers)
    • Blue & white summer dress

     

    Please make sure that all uniform is named.

     

    No jewellery other than watches or stud earrings should be worn. Children must be abl

  • Sainsbury's Active Kids 2014

    Active Kids is back again, and this year there are even more great reasons to get involved!

     

    Active Kids vouchers are available to collect from all Sainsbury's stores, petrol stations and when ordering groceries online, between Wednesday 29th January and Tuesday 20th May 2014.

     

    Please bring your Active Kids vouchers into the main school reception, were there is a collection box.

  • Cookery Club

    27th January 2014

    We will be running the Cookery Club again after the February half term holiday.

     

    The club will take place on Mondays from 3.30 - 4.30pm, for 6 weeks, starting on Monday 24th February and the last date will be on Monday 31st March.

     

    There will be a charge of £1.00 per pupil per week to cover the cost of ingedients and children will also need to bring an apron with them.

  • Inset Day & Polling Day!

    We had planned to have an Inset Day on Monday 24th February 2014 but have had to make a change, and the date for the Inset Day now is Friday 23rd May 2014.

     

    We will also be closed to pupils on Thursday 22nd May 2014 as we are being used as a Polling Station for the European Parliamentary Elections.

  • Lateness & Attendance!

    We will continue to work hard to ensure that all of our children arrive at school on time every day (before 9.00am).

     

    We are also working to ensure that children attend school every day. We have improved attendance over the last term, but will work hard to make it even better.

    Many thanks for everyones help and support during the Christmas shows, parties and activities. The children thouroughly enjoyed performing for you! Our collections raised £50 for the John Eastwood Hospice. Thank you to the parents who helped organise the Hamper Raffle - they raised a fantastic £425 towards the Christmas avtivities for the children.

    Free and subsidised school milk

    • If your child is under 5 years old they are entitled to free school milk until their 5th birthday.
    • If your child is over 5 years old and entitled to free school meals, they will recieve free milk up until their 7th birthday.
    • If your child is over 5 years old but not entitled to free school meals, you will need to make a payment at the cool milk website.
